About Martin Williams
Why choose a career in seed grading?
Where is it taking you in the regenerative circles?

I first met Martin back in 2017, at Greenmount where Geoff Basset, Graham Sait and Prof Don Huber were speaking. It had been a big day for me but I still had so many questions and it was Martin who stayed behind to answer them. That was way back in my very early days of trying to grasp Regenerative Farming and sliding it into a riding school situation.
Since then, Martin and I have formed a really strong friendship and and it became even stronger when he asked me to film him at Justin and Laroi’s farm. It was Martin’s first speaking gig and my first proper video to show case Martin’s pioneering concept that was inspired by Bruce Maynard’s ‘No Kill’ principle.
This video was a break through for both of us, I realised what people were needing and wanting. Martin realised he was capable of sharing his experiences as a seed grader and the direction that regenerative CASH cropping needs to go.
It was a refreshing change listening to someone who was actually walking the talk. Up until then I had listened to many theorists but I was now in the presence of regenerative CASH cropping actually working with very little to no chemicals and definitely no N fertiliser.
I knew which direction I wanted to go. This is where Farming Revolution was to have it’s own ‘revolution’ and my confidence as a videographer increased and I no longer hid in the sidelines.
This was a boost for Martin too as he had been on the circuits for 20 odd years and now he had a platform. To speak to a group of 50 farmers on a field day, was now being amplified to 1000’s of people world wide through the FR YT channel.

Martin Williams is a hard working gem. He is a very good friend that I lean on occasionally and our working inspiration comes from his ability to see what could be and for me to capture that moment on camera for the world to see. ‘In the Back of the Ute’ was Martin’s idea so here he is, everything you need to know about Martin.
Enjoy!
