• Tamzin Revell

    FOUNDER

I am fantastic at seeing untapped potential. I also love promoting small businesses and endorsing their quality products. Both Martin and Russell have so much potential that I couldn’t help myself, so a brand new business has been formed.

Competition is only healthy when it is against oneself and this is why I love collaboration. I feel great when someone else succeeds especially if I have had some input.

Having been a horse riding instructor for many years this has given me a rock solid foundation to compliment the educational aspect of Farming Revolution. Therefore creating ‘Multi Species Farming’ and linking the regenerative coaching was a natural progression for me.

  • Martin Williams

    SEED GRADER

Being an innovator in the seed grading scene, Martin has created and is building seed grading machines to suit the rise in the popularity of MS growing and harvesting.

Martin sells the Daikon radish that is grown in a 4 way mix without chemical application. What better way to introduce a MS mix than to purchase a seed that is already set up to flourish in that environment.

Martin is also a regenerative coach because his knowledge and understanding of biological farming is exemplary. He has spoken at several events and has on occasion been asked by Dr Christine Jones to answer questions about how to make a MS crop into a viable business opportunity.

  • Russell Young

    SEED PRODUCER

Russell has for many years steered away from chemical application using only occasional spot spraying to grow top quality clean seed. His germination rate is usually in the highest percentile.

Russell would like to use his newly gained expertise to encourage more farmers to have a go at planting a MS mix and use more biologically focused inputs as a step towards a higher quality of seed and productivity.

As he is demonstrating on-farm it is possible to take small steps into the biological world and not risk your entire business/farm by doing so. Try seed dressing with a biological stimulant before planting instead of “pickling” the seed and killing the microbiome. It’s a small step by the farmer but a giant leap for the soil life.

Lee Fieldhouse is affectionately known as the Worm Wrangler and has a successful business called Island Biologicals.

He says, “the first step is to dress your seeds with a biological stimulant before planting, to boost those microbes”

Founded in 2024

Going to a conference or field day and being expected to go back home and apply what you have heard is daunting and can be overwhelming.

Having spent 8 years in that same position I have gathered some great friends on the way. People who are specialists in their field but who also understand the bigger picture.

For the past 4 years I have been filming and editing videos to help us take those educational days, back to the farm, and hopefully apply some of the techniques learned. By capturing Martin and Russell walking the talk I hope these videos have been useful (Farming Revolution YouTube channel).

That brings us up-to-date with this new collaboration. As you can appreciate with the stories on the blog page, I have witnessed many different farms and conditions with the common factor being the Multi Species Mixes. The secret to this “magic” is understanding why you are growing them, what you are growing them for and which plants to use in your environment/climate.

Do not waste money on seeds you do not need and that do not serve you the purpose you are trying to achieve. Multi Species Farming is a unique collaboration between us; Tamzin, Martin and Russell.

Together our knowledge is unique, regenerative coaching is about setting the scene. Then being able to source the seeds that already have that regenerative head start, have a strong microbiome and respond well to a dressing of worm juice.
